EMMA REYNOLDS

Standing to be Wycombe’s next MP

I live in Holmer Green with my husband and two sons, and we rely on local services. I’m passionate about improving people’s lives.

Our economy has flatlined, people are struggling with the cost of living, and the NHS and other local services are on their knees. At the same time, people are paying the highest level of tax since the second world war.

Wycombe has so much going for it, but things could be so much better. It’s time for change. We need a Labour government working with a Labour MP here in Wycombe. There is so much to do. We need to fix our economy so we can invest in our public services, tackle the climate emergency and secure a decade of national renewal.

My pledges to you

  4. I will push for the best education and opportunities for all young people.
  5. I will work with a Labour government to address climate change and bring down fuel bills

Local people are paying the price for Conservative economic chaos, with rents increasing and average mortgages up £200 a month. 500,000 fewer young people are homeowners than when the Tories came to power 14 years ago.

Labour will help more people to get on the housing ladder and tackle rising energy bills by investing in insulating homes.

Only Labour can beat the Tories in Wycombe. If you want to stop another 5 years of Tory failure, the choice is clear: vote Labour to elect me as your MP.

At the last general election, Labour came a close second, with the Lib Dems and Greens in distant third and fourth place. Only a vote for Labour will oust the Tories.

Conservatives 45.2% Labour 37.5% Lib Dems 11.9% Greens 2.7%
