I was delighted to visit Butterfly House in Wycombe during Hospice Care Week. The theme of this year’s event is “hospice care is more than you think.” I was impressed by the variety of services that Butterfly House offers to make people’s lives better, including physiotherapy, breast cancer support groups and arts and crafts activities.
It was encouraging to hear that the merger between Bucks Hospice Group and Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity will improve care for the Wycombe community, especially by expanding nursing support for those who wish to die at home.
