Celebrating launch of 200th railway book by local Wycombe business

Wycombe business Transport Treasury Publishing is marking two incredible milestones with the release of its 200th railway book, Wiltshire Wisdom: The History of GWR Engineering at Swindon — fittingly released in this special year that celebrates the 200th anniversary of the railways.

I was pleased to visit this thriving Wycombe business to attend their book launch. I recognise both the importance of Britain’s railway heritage and the remarkable success of a publisher that has become one of the UK’s leading names in transport history.

Formed in 2019, Transport Treasury Publishing has grown rapidly through its passion for preserving and sharing Britain’s transport legacy. With a catalogue that now spans 200 titles, the company continues to celebrate the engineers, workers, and enthusiasts who built and sustained the nation’s railways.

Wiltshire Wisdom pays tribute to the pioneering spirit of GWR engineering at Swindon, capturing the skill, innovation, and community that made the town a cornerstone of railway excellence.

Robin Fell, Director at Transport Treasury Publishing, said:

This milestone is not just about our 200th book – it’s about celebrating two centuries of railway heritage and the people who have helped us share those stories.
