It was a pleasure to visit Wycombe’s Shri Meenakshi Amman Temple to take part in a puja ceremony and meet the temple’s youth committee. I heard about their cultural projects, community outreach and fundraising plans, and spoke with temple leaders about the importance of spaces that bring people together.
Wycombe’s Hindu community make a huge contribution to our town. The youth committee’s passion and creativity were inspiring, and it was a pleasure to share a meal after the service — the dhal was exceptional.
