On Friday 20 March 2026, I visited the High Wycombe Judo Centre to meet Director George Jack and learn more about the centre’s expanding programme of activities. The centre now hosts an impressive range of classes — from gymnastics and Zumba to baby sensory sessions and free running — attracting hundreds of residents of all ages.
It is inspiring to see the Judo Centre thriving and serving so many people across our community. I was pleased to support them through some challenging casework last year, and it’s wonderful to see how far they’vecome. My thanks go to the dedicated staff and volunteers whose hard work keeps Wycombe active, connected and healthy.

Her help and support were very much appreciated, particularly with our ongoing work towards extending the lease with the council.”
