It was fascinating to hear from CEO Jacqueline Roberts about the important work of the St Vincent and the Second Generation charity SV2G.
SV2G will receive the King’s Award for Voluntary Service (KAVS) for their arts and heritage projects including steelpan lessons. Equivalent to an MBE, KAVS is the highest Award given to local voluntary groups in the UK, and they are awarded for life.
High Wycombe has the largest population of Vincentians in the UK and they make an important contribution to our community.
