It was fascinating to visit the Accessible Workshop in Wycombe with the Minister for Social Care, Stephen Kinnock MP.
The Accessible Workshop is a Social Enterprise Initiative which enables adults with learning disabilities or autism to build real-world work skills and gain an understanding of how their skills and talents can be used to create positive social change.
It was great to meet Marcus who started as a student and now works for the Social Enterprise. He taught me and Stephen how to use a drill properly, a skill that I have no doubt we will remember for a long time!
