When I visited High Wycombe Ambulance Station in March 2025, I was saddened to hear from staff about the poor state of the building and some of the ambulances. Following that visit, I wrote to the Department of Health and raised the issues at the highest level of government.
I am committed to fighting for a better ambulance service for patients and improved facilities for Wycombe’s hard-working ambulance staff, following years of Tory neglect.
I was pleased to hear that Wycombe Ambulance Station will receive a share of £690K from the Estates Safety Fund for improvements to the building’s fabric and electrical systems.
I also welcome the news that South Central Ambulance Trust (SCAS) is receiving over £8.7 million for 57 ambulances.
SCAS has said that Wycombe is a priority, and I look forward to my constituents feeling the benefit of investment in this critical public service.
